Being retired and yet still a professional musician, I play piano at a number of senior and retirement communities in the West Valley, as well as throughout the greater Phoenix area every month. Whenever I play at Mera Goodyear, I’m always impressed by not only how beautiful a property it is, but also the spirit and happiness of its residents. It’s easy to understand why the residents are indeed so content. It’s because of the modern atmosphere, the sense of being safe, and the amenities - all backed by a friendly, caring and professional staff. I always look forward to playing at Mera Goodyear. It’s just a great place!

I’m very impressed with Mera employees, residents, and definitely the apartments. The apartments are well maintained and have wonderful varied events–also beautiful grounds outdoors with a welcoming pool. Conveniently located in Goodyear, Mera provides convenient indoor mail, trash amenities, etc. My visit was delightful and hope to arrange a move as soon as can be arranged.

What really stands out at Mera Goodyear is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about the residents. I can’t say enough great things about the team at Mera Goodyear! Francine, Gabbie, Kathy, and Dave are truly one-of-a-kind—warm, welcoming, and genuinely fun to be around. They create such a positive, uplifting environment that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in the energy they bring every day. It’s rare to find a team that works so well together while making everyone around them feel so comfortable and valued. Mera Goodyear is a brand new community. Not much to look at from the outside but the inside is spectacular! If you want to be where there is a sense of community, but you don’t want the “assisted living” feel, this is the place. The opportunities to come together as a community are plentiful. There are yoga classes in the wellness center, community meals in the bistro, media center to watch movies or sports with others, a library, game room and so much more. The residents vary in age from 50 to 90. You have full time workers, semi-retired & fully retired.
